for everyone
The most I like from photography is a human interest (journalistic portrait) I like taking picture in any condition, and feel their expression to tell to other people so when they look to my picture they can feel the feeling from my object, and make my picture become a story to other people.

To take a portrait from people, you must see the condition from that people, learn about their habit if it necessary, and try to feel their emotion too while you take the picture from the person that you make as an object for you. You must be patient, because it is different with landscape photography, you have to wait your object come out with their expression than it make you picture like a story. If you a landscape photography you does not need to be passion, because the object never move from you you only just set the angle to make a great picture.

But in human interest you have to wait for a long time (maybe) and you only have one change to shoot it because they can not repeat the moment and their expression, and you must ready for it.

I always set my camera like this for human interest; aperture f-6.3 to f-10 and adjust the shutter speed (adjust with aperture) and set white balance to Auto White Balance and set Auto Focus (AF) to continous. ISO set between 200-400 (depend on light condition).

And remember, somtimes you have to ask for the permission to the person that you make as an object, to respect their culture.
